Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

1.Who we are and what this covers

Qvart is an app for finding company for activities in your city. It is operated by Sconium d.o.o., Radnička cesta 20, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB (tax ID) 09127769488, MBS (commercial court register number) 070116706 (Commercial Court in Zagreb), director Samir Chamae. Contact: info@qvartapp.com.

These terms form a contract between you and Sconium d.o.o. By registering and using the app you accept them and confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Qvart.

2.Who can use Qvart

Only people aged 18 or over can use Qvart. At sign-up you confirm your age with your date of birth. You must have an account with accurate details, one account per person, and keep your password and recovery codes safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you suspect someone has accessed it, change your password at once and tell us.

3.What Qvart is and is not

Qvart only connects people. We do not organise or supervise activities, we do not check places, organisers or participants, and we are not a party to any arrangement between users.

Activities are free to join. Some can be joined at once, and for others the organiser approves a request. Each activity is organised by, and is the responsibility of, its organiser, and you take the risk of taking part in it.

Qvart does not guarantee that an activity will take place, that anyone will show up, or that descriptions, ratings and reliability indicators are accurate.

4.Rules of conduct

When you use Qvart you agree to respect others and the law. It is forbidden to:

publish illegal content or encourage illegal acts

hate speech, insults, threats, harassment and discrimination

sexual, violent or disturbing content, and content that shows or encourages violence

fake profiles, impersonation, and fake or misleading activities

spam, advertising, scams and mass sending of the same content

share other people's photos, data, private messages or location without permission

infringe copyright or other rights, including posting photos and videos you have no right to use

bypass security measures, scrape data automatically or disrupt the app

use Qvart if you are under 18

You are responsible for the content you publish.

5.Staying safe when you meet

Most activities take place in person with people you may not know. So:

get to know them in a chat first and check their profile and ratings

pick a public place for a first meeting and tell someone close to you where you are

do not share your home address, financial details or passwords

leave if you do not feel safe

report anything that breaks the rules with Report user, Report activity or Report message

In an emergency call 112.

6.Your content and permissions

The content you publish (photos, text, messages, activities, ratings) stays yours. So that the app can work, you give us a non-exclusive, limited right to store it, show it to other users according to your privacy settings, and translate it when you ask. The right lasts until you remove the content or delete your account, with the exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to publish the content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. Qvart, its name, logo, design and code are protected and remain ours. You may not copy them or use them outside the app without our written approval.

7.Reports and moderation

You can report content or a person in the app. Every report is reviewed by a person who moderates. Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:

send a warning

remove content or cancel an activity

temporarily suspend an account (the length is set by the moderator)

permanently ban an account

We tell you about a measure in the app, and you can ask for the reason and details at info@qvartapp.com. You can appeal any decision at the same address, and we review it again and answer you by email. More about the process is in the Privacy Policy, section Reporting content and moderation. Likewise, if we did not remove something you reported, you can contact us and ask for a new review.

8.Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account and security > Delete account. What happens then is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you put others at risk, if the law or an authority requires it, or if the account was opened by someone under 18. Where possible, we warn you first.

9.Availability and changes to the app

We try to keep the app running without interruption, but we cannot guarantee it. Because of maintenance, technical faults or reasons beyond our control the service may sometimes be unavailable. We may change or discontinue individual features, with reasonable notice when it affects your use. You use the app on your own device and at your own mobile data cost.

10.Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, and harm to life, body and health. The rights you have by law as a consumer remain untouched.

Within the limits the law allows, we are not responsible for the behaviour of other users, for how an activity goes or ends, or for harm arising from meetings you arrange through the app. You are responsible for your own content and actions, and the organiser is responsible for their activity.

11.Changes to the terms

We may change these terms, for example because of new features or rules. We will tell you about significant changes in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept them, you can stop using the app and delete your account before they take effect. If you keep using Qvart after that, we treat the changes as accepted.

12.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, without depriving you of the protection that mandatory rules of your country of residence give you as a consumer.

Contact us first at info@qvartapp.com, we settle most matters amicably. If we do not agree, as a consumer you may bring a claim before the court where you live, and in other cases the court in Zagreb is competent.
